Diagnostic Testing

Often the last word for a patient’s condition must come from a sub specialist. Retina is no different. When there are questions regarding one’s eye or vision that are not resolved with glasses, cataract surgery, or other tests and treatments offered by the primary eye care provider a retina specialist is often consulted. In order to answer such questions we may need to utilize several of the following examination and diagnostic tests. Therefore, a patient must be prepared to spend adequate time when visiting a retina specialist. At times, some of these tests may have to be performed on another day.
